An architect and urban research from Egypt. His main research interest is change in historic settlements. He graduated from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Cairo with a bachelor and master degree in architectural engineering and environmental studies in 2007 and 2011. He started started working as a teaching assistant in 2007 at the same institution. He has also worked in several architectural firms where he worked on several architectural projects and researches in historic contexts. In 2014, He traveled to Germany to acquire his PhD in the Bauhaus Universität Weimar in the European urban studies program.
