January 7, 2010: YA Elections 2009 Results
Dear Young Academics,The YA statutes state the Secretary General of Aesop is responsible to announce the results of the YA elections. I am very happy to do so and to congratulate the two newly elected members: Hossein Marouffi and Stephen Ackers.
Hossein Marouffi and Stephen Ackers will join the YA coordination team which will soon be invited to meet AESOP's Secretary General. I would also like to address special thanks to Orna Rosenfeld, who also was candidate for the 2009 election. According to the YA statutes, Orna Rosenfeld will be called first to replace any member that may leave the team mid-term. Also, I have no doubt that the YA team will be happy to keep in touch with her.
I should point out that the YA are crucial for Aesop's future. Active and dynamic participation within the YA is just one step away to becoming involved in Aesop's institutions and initiatives and in taking responsibilities within the association. And that will put you right in the center of our planning community.
