I am interested in the relationship between built environment and travel behaviour, people-environment interactions (including studies related to children)and socio-cultural issues in urban planning.
The general aim of this study is to continue on the research interest in understanding travel behaviour in a holistic approach that considers the multitude of factors (built environment, socio-demographic and psycho-sociological factors) affecting modal choice. It explores people’s perceptions and relative importance of these factors for different trip purposes and in different spatial, economic and socio-cultural contexts.
