Chiara Garau

Chiara Garau, graduate in Architecture - Construction Engineering (2003) and in Communication Sciences (2013) both with 110/110 cum laude,has actively continued post graduate research,holding a Master's in Business Intelligence (2005), PhD in Land Engineering (2008) and a Research Fellowship (grant for young researchers LR 7/2007 co-financed POR Sardinia FSE 2007-2013) at the DICAAR, University of Cagliari.
From 2004,in addition to educational activities,she worked in the Department of Land Engineering and since 2009 she has worked in the DICAAR.
Since 2012 she has been an honorary fellow in the ICAR/20 disciplinary sector. Currently she is Postdoctoral Fellow at Cagliari University.

General research interests

Her main research interests are focused on issues of urban planning, landscape planning, cultural heritage, planning systems, and participatory processes. A referee of international scientific journals, she is author of over twenty-six scientific publications, including monographs, conference proceedings, articles in books, national and international journals.
