I have graduated from the Department of City and Regional Planning at Middle East Technical University in 2020. Currently I am doing my masters in City Planning Graduate Program at the same university and am working as a research assistant in my department.
In the epoch of technology and information, the enthusiasm in advanced industrialization and the pursuit of extreme prosperity hamper the balance of people’s lives. More research and development are required to achieve balance, while they bring further problems and new solutions. More production means more consumption which are reflected as an increase in demands. Here, people perceive what is imposed as a need, while those who have limited access to resources are having a lower quality of life. The production of the better leads the existing options to be portrayed as primitive or inadequate.
