I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. In 2005 I started studying Architecture and Visual Arts at the Universidad Javeriana (Bogotà, Colombia). Then, due to a double degree scholarship program, I graduated from a MSc in Architettura, Costruzione, Città at the Politecnico di Torino. On 2013 while doing an internship in the Urban Renewal project driven by the Comitato Urban Barriera di Milano, I enrolled in a one-year postgraduate program in “Habitat, Tecnologia e Sviluppo” within the Research Center in “Tecnologia, architettura e città nei Paesi in via di sviluppo” at the Politecnico di Torino.
My research interests are currently focalised in the new forms of welfare provision and demand that are taking form in cities. I'm specially interested in understanding the new social risks being configured within multicultural societies in rising unequal urban spaces (dual cities), and the particular assemblages that public, private and informal actors are conforming for the provision of welfare services at the local scale.
