Results of the YA Best Paper Prize at the AESOP Congress 2015

We are happy to announce the results of the YA Best Paper Prize at the AESOP Congress 2015 in Prague.
This year the prize was a great success, with 23 submissions of extremely high quality.
We want to thank the Journal Proceedings of the ICE - Urban Design and Planning for their continuous support to the prize.

The Coordination Team of the YA has shortlisted four papers and then assigned the following prizes:

First prize (500 GBP, publication on the journal and free access to the journal during 1 year):

Aoife Doyle for the paper "Urban Resilience in a Post-Crisis Context - The Regeneration of the Dublin Docklands".


Runner ups (250 GBP, free access to the journal during 1 year and possibility of publication):

Jin Xue for the paper "Eco-city Planning Conditioned by Growth Ideology: The Case of Copenhagen";

Edward Jones for the paper "Planning for the Tech City: Economic Imaginaries in Post-recession London".


Special mention to:

Tugce Sanli for the paper "Crafting Tools of Planning Practice and Pseudo-participation: Hegemonic Power Relations in Decision Making Process of Urban Development in Turkey".
